Previous roles include Sustainable Energy and Climate Change Manager at North West Regional Assembly, where he developed the North West Sustainable Energy Strategy, a range of regional climate change initiatives and Regional Spatial Strategy relating to energy and climate. He co-chaired the regional Sustainable Energy Working Group with Renewables NorthWest. Andy is also a former Energy Manager with Tameside MBC, and has developed and managed initiatives providing environmental support to SMEs. Andy holds an MSc. (with distinction) in Environmental Policy and Management and a BSc.(Hons) in Environmental Science. He is a qualified BREEAM assessor.
